Poetry

In writing I have used a poem by James K. Baxter as a starting point to write my own poem. I hope you like it

My James . K . Baxter poem
The class was usual enough it had posters, people,
paintings, books and even some pillows.
Kyla, Faith and I did what school kids do -
published writing, read books, chatted, copied and ate.

Doing nothing important.

    Nice work Anya! I did James K. Baxter's poetry with Year 13s last year, so you guys are obviously a long way ahead!
